I grew up in the Palm Springs, CA area, and in the middle of summer it gets 110-120. Road work and construction work generally takes place during the overnight hours. =)
That makes sense, but all I know is Texas, and down heah', you're on your own with the daytime elements, with night-time reserved for family-time or bar-time.
